About Lombok Island
Location and Climate
Lombok is just 25 miles east of Bali, in the West Nusa Tenggara province of Indonesia.
The climate is Tropical, with warm and humid weather all year round. Temperature range from 21 Celsius to 32 Celsius. The Rainy Season is from October to December, however it’s worth pointing out that Lombok is drier than neighboring Bali, which makes it a particularly attractive option during that time (it rains on Lombok too, but rarely for more than an hour).

How to get there
Silk Air, Singapore Airlines sister company, offers 3 direct flights a week from Singapore to Mataram’s Selaparang Airport (AMI), also called “Ampenan”. If you’re coming from Europe, US or Australasia this is your most likely your best option.
If you’re already in Indonesia Garuda Airlines, Merpati Airlines and GT Air all offer flights very frequently from Denpasar, Bali (20 min. flight time), Surabaya (1 hour flight time) and the capital Jakarta.
From Bali and Gili Islands there are also ferries and speedboats (like Gili Cat) that will take you there in a time ranging from 5 to 2 hours respectively.
