Why Lombok
The beautiful island of Lombok has all the advantages of the well known sister island Bali without having its disadvantages. Being just 25 miles (or 40 kms from Bali) Lombok has the same geographical configuration. Tropical climate, gorgeous sandy beaches, deep blue see and lush green mountain. And a volcano too. What you can leave in Bali though is the hordes of tourists, the mad traffic and the tourist touts. Lombok is still relatively undiscovered, and can offer you more relax and privacy, an even less contaminated nature and lower prices.
The local saying: “from Lombok you can see Bali, but from Bali you cannot see Lombok” says it all.
